Bovina Dems Starting Up

Bovina No Comments »

A new town club has started up - in Bovina. Patty Cullen and Lynne Resch are the delegates to the county committee. (Bovina has only one election district, each district has two delegates to county - so Bovina has two delegates.) Of 420 registered voters in Bovina, 120 are Democrats. We’d love to have at least 10% show up for the first meeting.

Call Patty at 607-832-4389 to see about a first meeting - dates being considered are Thursday May 24th, Tuesday May 29th and Wednesday May 30th at 7:30pm, as well as Saturday June 2nd at 11am. Leave a message with your name, phone or email and which date/time you prefer. Location will either be in community hall, libary or a private residence depending on the number of people who respond.

Future meetings will have notifications sent via email.

Andes Dems Meet May 10

Andes, Bovina No Comments »

All Democrats in the town of Andes have been contacted to attend a May 10 meeting at 7 p.m. at the Hunting Tavern. Out of nearly 200 postcards sent out, only five have been returned as undeliverable, so the town committee is hoping for a good turnout. The agenda includes the continued work of forming an Andes Democratic Club, and the recruitment of candidates for this fall’s town elections.
Town of Bovina Democrats will again be welcome, and members of clubs in other county towns are welcome to attend, to offer comments on how their clubs operate.
