This just in, from Ross of Gillibrand for Congress:

Today, Kirsten and Jonathan announced the birth of their second son, Henry Nelson Gillibrand, at Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The baby weighed 7 lbs and 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Mother and baby are both healthy and resting comfortably.

This is the second child for the Gillibrand family. Their son Theo is four years old.
